Today my son scared the living poop out of me. I realize I have a special son in the sense that I have to have eyes in the back of my head to look after him. And he can never be in a room alone for any length of time. Today confirmed all the above. I had to send a message to a girl about watching Blake for Eric's Chief dinner in April. I was also talking to a friend online. I heard Blake and he sounded like he was locked in the closet. So I closed out the computer and went looking for him. After walking in all the rooms but my own I heard him in my room. He had opened my window and somehow managed to climb outside. He was crawling around on the tin roof that covers my back yard. I panicked and tried to get him to come to me. But he is two. He doesn't listen. I got on the roof and got him. However there is a big gap between my window and roof and I couldn't get myself back up it. I am really short and right now I wish I would have grown a couple more inches. Anyway after freaking out for a min. I Finally got Blake to hand me my cell phone and I was able to call a couple of friends to come help me. Thank God for friends! Anyway we are ok. Noone was hurt and it taught us a good lesson. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE MY KID AGAIN! I won't think he can't do something just because I've never seen him do it with my own eyes. Anyway I guess I won't have any boring weeks. Not with my son to keep me on my toes.
Much Aloha,

WHAT WE ARE UP TO
It has been a long time since I posted a blog. I felt like it was time to update. Things are going pretty well here in Hawaii. Blake is growing like crazy! I have been trying to take lots of pictures but its hard to get him to look at me LOL! This is one exception. We went to Chuckie Cheeses for a friends little boys birthday party. Blake had a blast. But I learned that I will not do a chuckie cheese party anytime soon for Blake LOL. That was madness!! Anyway Eric is currently at CPOA (Chief Petty Officer Academy) He is learning lots and gets challenged on a daily basis. He is currently trying to work out and get a little healthier. We are actually headed to see him in April. April 8th to be exact. I will be there to see him graduate. Its kind of a big deal. I haven't gotten to see him graduate anything yet. So I am excited. Plus I am going back to the mainland for almost 2 whole weeks! I'm really excited about seeing all the family again and I really think its important for Blake to know all his family members. Eric is also getting to come home in May to visit us for alittle over a week. We are happy about it. I have some great friends I'm hoping he'll get a chance to meet before they move away. Seems like lots of people are moving off of the island now. I guess it is that time. Military life can be hard. You are always saying hello and goodbye. I love the friends I have made here. They keep me busy and SANE! We are working at me possibly becoming a back up ombudsman for the ship. I Have hopes it will work out. I know lots of spouses need help and/or information when the boat deploys. It will be nice to be a helping hand. Well that is about all that is going on. Or at least I can think of. I hope all is well with everyone.
Much Aloha,
Amber and Blake
