Playtimes with Tempy

Blake loves his Tempy. They play very well together. They do fight some but what small kid doesn't? They are both very cute together. Tempy allowed me to put on Blake's lightning mcqueen jumper. And she looked VERY cute :). They had a bunch of fun playing with the box together and eating cheetos and watching Finding Nemo. Overall I would say it was a successful playdate.

Jarvis Lei.

the Jarvis Ohana made a Jarvis Lei for the ships return. Here are some pictures of the finished product and us fluffing it out. Hopefully it will get flown to the Jarvis soon so they can wear it when they come home.

Food play.

So in all my years I have never seen this. My kid instead of eating his broccoli decided to stick it in his rice and make a forrest. Sometimes I am just amazed at his imagination and the things he comes up with!

Halloween 2009

So for Halloween this year Blake dressed up as Woody from Toy Story. I really wanted to do a cowboy this year and this was a good find. Went to the disney store. He has another costume. A lightning mcqueen one but it was fleece and um yeah its like 80-90 degrees here. Fleece in Hawaii? No spankyou helpy helperton. I tried to put it on him and he was like NO MOMMY hahaha. So my boy knows what he wants and what he doesn't. Anyway he was a very adorable Woody and got a ton of compliments all night long from people. He also made several cute compliments. He told the monsters handing out candy thank you. But was scared of Bart Simpson. So it was an enlighting experience for me. It was my first year taking him alone. We made it and lived to tell about it! And that is what matters! We missed Eric though and wished that he was with us. I dressed up as an angel in disguise. I bought an angel costume for another party we went to but it was so hot there was no way I was going to wear it. Next year I have some fun ideas and I hope I can get some friends to go along with me. Anyway he made out with a bunch of candy and had a lot of fun.

Pumpkin Carving.

Well the Lange Ohana carved pumpkins this year. With the help of Blake's Auntie "Jack" her real name is Christine but for some reason Blake calls her Jack. We have no idea why. But for now we are just going to go with it. Anyway originally we were going to carve Blake a blues clues pumpkin well that didn't work out so well. I tried to do it only to realize I messed up and it was going to be a giant hole for a face. But alas I saved the day and was able to make a face. Christine carved one of the pumpkins for me. I don't know how I would have gotten them both done without help LOL. The smaller one ended up being full of maggots. We carved it anyway and set it outside. It was a lot of fun. Blake fell asleep so he didn't even see them until the next day. But he loved them so that is all that matters.

Pumpkin Patch 2009

Took Blake to the pumpkin patch this year. He loved being able to run through the fields. He got VERY dirty though. As you can see in the last picture the red dirt was just awful. And he was FILTHY! We weren't very impressed this year. Most of the pumpkins were broken and smashed. If you did find a good pumpkin it probably had a hole in it. We ended up buying a smaller one only to bring it home to carve it and find maggots in it. So needless to say I don't know that we will be doing the pumpkin patch here again next year. Or if we do decide to go we will go on opening day at the time they open. Maybe then we'll have something to pick from. Oh and it was VERY hot. I mean I had to stop to get us water because we were sweating. Oy vey!

MORE ARTS AND CRAFTS AND FUN.

His ghostly foot print project.
Painting a paper sack pumpkin
Mommy helping him spread paint.
Bubble time!

Aloha! I have been doing my best trying to keep Blake as busy as possible for the month of October. This month we have been doing a lot of arts and crafts. The first picture is his ghost feet. We basically painted the bottom of his feet and then he stepped on the paper. I drew the mouth and eyes and made them ghosts. Also the army base Schofield has an arts and crafts time for mommy and tots. That is where me made his pumpkin paper sacks. They were a lot of fun to make but very messy! Our final picture is of him looking up. I felt like this was just such a good picture I needed to share. He got a Go Diego Go bubble blower for his birthday and we turned it on for him to play. This is just a shot of him checking out bubbles. Anyway thats about all for now.
Much Aloha!
